About Our Club
The original Bangor, Maine stamp club stopped meeting some years ago. The current Bangor Stamp Club has been meeting monthly since early 2023. We continue to grow as new members join us to share our passion for stamps and philately.
We welcome stamp collectors of any experience and collecting interest to come join us!
Talks and Presentations
Our meetings frequently feature talks and presentations, including “show-and-tell,” by attendees. Some past talks include Stamps of the Cape of Good Hope, as well as French Precancels, and French Advertising Booklets – Private and Semi-private.
Buying and Selling, Trading, Auctions
All attendees are welcome to buy, sell, and trade stamps, and we also hold a silent auction every club meeting where items with multiple bids go to a live auction at the end of the meeting.
When and Where
We meet at the Hermon Ambulance building at 262 Billings Rd, Hermon ME 04401 on the last Friday of the month at 6 pm. Please see our club calendar for any changes to the usual schedule.
